Just a little background for those reading this:
I'm going on an 8 week Physical Therapy Clinical in Belize. I'm going with Caroline (one of my classmates), who is awesome and very adventurous!- Here is a picture of us "Pre-Belize."
As I reflect on how excited I was when I received the news that I would be going to Belize for a clinical, I never anticipated I would be this anxious about going! I am really looking forward to all the new adventures and clinical/ PT experiences I will have, but I am somewhat hesitant about being so far out of my comfort zone (which is the whole point of this experience!) Everyone keeps telling me over and over again "Just go with the flow," "Be flexible," "You'll never get to do this again!" And believe me, I know all of that, it's just harder to plan for all of the unexpected until I'm down there and in the moment! But Belize me, I AM EXCITED!

Here's a map of Belize: We'll be staying west of Punta Gorda.

I will be working in the clinic alongside doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacists who are doing more long-term stays, and there will be students from the aforementioned disciplines there for rotations, similar to what Caroline and myself are doing.
I'll post more pictures when I arrive on Sunday night!
